Located in the charming village of Fort Road, just minutes from stunning beaches, vibrant markets, and cultural landmarks, our cozy cottages offer the perfect blend of relaxation, adventure, and local living.
Rooted in Antiguan Heritage
Owned and operated by an indigenous Antiguan family, My Comfy Cottages was inspired by a deep appreciation for the island’s history and architecture. The project’s founder drew inspiration from her father, a talented watercolor artist Hubert “Tracy’’ Salmon whose paintings beautifully captured Antigua’s historic homes and landscapes. His love for these iconic structures ignited a passion for preserving the island’s cultural heritage.
At My Comfy Cottages, we believe in preserving the past while protecting our planet. By rehabilitating traditional Antiguan Chatel Houses instead of building new structures, we reduce construction waste, conserve resources, and minimize our environmental footprint. This approach not only honors the cultural heritage of Antigua but also promotes eco-friendly tourism, allowing guests to enjoy a unique, sustainable retreat with modern features that supports our local community and environment.
Each of our wooden cottages is designed to provide a rustic yet comfortable retreat, featuring modern amenities like Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and fully equipped kitchens, all infused with a touch of island charm. With options ranging from 1 to 2 bedrooms, our cottages are ideal for solo travelers, couples, families, and even digital nomads looking for an inspiring work-from-paradise destination.
